When checking under the rear seat mount of our Lynx we noticed the plastic was discolored under the mount in the same pattern as the Hobie mount which indicates the plastic was under stress from sitting on the seat.
These perfectly shaped gaskets will go between your seat mount and the Lynx to even out the pressure points under the seat. It's made from a flexible but firm plastic designed to keep the edges of the mount from creating too much pressure for the Lynx hull.
